Beggining of my Demise

Topic: SadPoetry

I remember that night a while ago,
When we were standing toe to toe.

We were kissing and hugging that whole night,
I asked you to be my girl and you said you might.

It all started as an innocent crush,
Then I noticed that you were beggining to rush.

After a few short weeks you said you had to talk to me,
You looked me in the eye and told me you loved me.

At first I was shocked and didn't know what to do,
Then I looked at you and smiled and said I love you too.

I don't think that you understood the love I have for you,
then you broke up with me for something I didn't even do.

I acted like it didn't hurt but inside it did,
I couldn't show my soft side so I kept it hid.

I've loved you ever since and have tried to get back with you,
You always said maybe and kept on doing what you do.

I trusted you with everything from A to Z,
I never would have thought that you would tell on me.

But I'm glad that you did becasue someone had to know,
You said you don't have anything else to say to me and I'm sorry if that's how it goes.

I'm not mad at you for telling its more like a blessing in disguise,
With everything that we've been through there's something I've realized.

I want to hate you for everything you do,
But if I said I hated you then it wouldn't be true.

When I found out you liked me it took me by surprise,
The beggining of our realationship was the beggining of my demise.
