Nose Art Girlfriend
Shes the girl on the nose of the B-17
She trick or treats for Christmas
Makes expensive gifts on Halloween
Her toothy, gin soaked smile
Gets the old ladies all riled
But boys like me can spot her from a mile
Shes still saying funny words like swell
her hair looks weird, but what the hell
My grandmothers style suits her better
As long as she doesnt knit me a sweater
Shes drifting in her own backwater
Defiantly offbeat like an illegal squatter
Chin up, shoulders back like a pose
Her perfume smells like wilted rose
She spikes our malts from a flask in her pocket
When she wants to leave she says lets rocket
She climbs winking into the back of my car
asking, What? Youve never gone this far?
No doubt the strangest girl Ive ever seen
In the land of the blind shes the one-eyed queen
