The Last Train

Contributed by x_midnight_x on Friday, 6th August 2004 @ 04:34:04 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I shall not fear thee,
As I used to.
I shall not resent thee,
When those I love are taken.

My anger of loss and silence,
Is blended with curiosity and envy,
However your shadow veils me,
In great heartrate and unknown stages.
Sensations I may wish not to endure,
A peaceful calm, I hope to find
Upon my journey.

Thought may spiral to those behind me,
As I was then, how one desolves
and leaves sweet little visions,
odours and tones.

However you arrive, I may fight thee,
In case you were mistaken
But finaly, when the last train has passed,
I will invite thee and a sigh of relief,
as my curiosity is laid to rest.

That's an interesting attitude you have towards death...it makes for an intriguing piece of poetry, for which I think you deserve 5 stars.
