As things go from bad to worse in Iraq
The troops truly wonder why they are there
We will all hear soon enough though
As Bush no longer holds them in fear
No hearts or minds are being won in Iraq
There they think America and they think attack
The idealistic young troops know there is total lack
of honesty back home
The people there are not being told
How Iraq REALLY is, was and will be...
They are being kept in the dark
The lies being told talk of being free...
Freedom?
The first thing the Iraqis want free of
is America
