There Once Was a Girl From Saskatchewan...

Contributed by Stoney1 on Friday, 6th August 2004 @ 10:25:01 AM in AEST
Topic: limericks

There once was a party-goer from Saskatchewan
Couldn't decide which coat, or hat to put on
So she dyed her hair black,
Painted a white stripe down her back,
And ate beans, to make herself flatulant,
- then went to the party as a skunk.

Here's another:

There once was a man named Mike
Who professed he'd once dated a dike,
When asked how it went,
He allowed she'd left him half spent,
And she also tied a knot in his spike.

I liked the idea of the first one but you lost rhythm at the end with "skunk"

Saskatchewan
on - this part is good...
skunk?

the last word is supposed to rhyme with on or Saskatchewan

Hope you don't mind my constructive criticism

The second one is really good...

I was going for the humour rather than worrying about
the purity of the limerick itself.*g*

But no, I don't mind the correction.
