Even though it is not true
I know what I must do
Go around and tell a lie
I'm quite too shy
to be a spy
for when the world darkens
and the sun also dies
the stars will be mine
and no longer shall I live a lie
For the day and me
were not meant to be
early birds and midnights
are the lives I lead
I'm but a mortal
I've gone through a portal
so the day and me
were not meant to be
for if it was
its not because
the way I am is naught but me.
