BUSH, FRANKS AND FEITH - SEND IN THE CLOWNS! *)

Contributed by steeleyes on Sunday, 8th August 2004 @ 06:31:26 AM in AEST
Topic: political

General Franks criticisms of top Pentagon aide Douglas Feith - who he said was 'getting a reputation.. as the dumbest guy on the planet' - were dismissed by Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Thursday.

Mr Rumsfeld said Mr Feith, who is under secretary of defense for policy, was a 'rare talent' and called Gen Frank's criticisms 'kind of strange'

Donald Feith
The 'dumbest man on the planet'?
Well yes, according to General Franks!

But surely that's not right!
Surely there's something wrong here?
Only ONE man fits THAT bill
Remember the Texan with a bum steer?

We can't have Mr Feith labeled so
When there is another we ALREADY know!
General Franks has sold us a dummy
And misled the misleader bare-faced Rummy

No one can take away that particular crown
There is only ONE who is the GREATEST clown
Old Bozo Bush the Best Buffoon
Undisputed champion! Our Biggest goon!

So how bright is Franks with his error bold?
Is the light switched on in his head of gold?
How perceptive is HE when he tells these lies?
And out of Rummy gets a rise?

Lions led by donkeys that's what the legend says
Our proud troops let down in so many ways
By two buffoons in high office now
Who slaughter each day a holy cow

To choose between them is not a chore
Bush leads the pack but there are many more
Rice, Powell, Wolfowitz too
A real bunch of asses, a doleful crew

From one to ten these incompetents march
Toward catastrophe not a triumphal arch
Perhaps there are fifty of these dopey diehards
Hey! I know! Let's create some playing cards!

The dopey fifty
half a hundred clownish men
No, let's including women
that Toothy Rice, and then...

Hunt them down and stand and laugh
At their retarded behaviour and each gaff
And in the end with a final fling
Consign them to their rightful place...

...our local circus ring!

It's official folks!

U.S. President George W. Bush a big winner at World Stupidity Awards
NELSON WYATT
Canadian Press

Friday, July 23, 2004

MONTREAL (CP) - The November elections may still be ahead of him but U.S. President George W. Bush came out a big winner Friday - at the World Stupidity Awards.

Bush was a dominating presence at the second edition of the awards presented at the Just for Laughs comedy festival. Host Lewis Black, whose biting satire is a highlight of TV's The Daily Show, took pride in the recognition the United States received at the awards, saying: 'we are the gold standard.'

Black said the awards 'celebrate the pros' and 'perfection in idiocy' because real stupidity is hard work.

'It's easy to fall down a manhole, it's easy to put the candles too close to the drapes, it's easy to launch a military invasion of another country based on a few blurry satellite photos,' he observed.

'This year my people, we scaled the Everest of stupidity and we stand upon its peak.'

Bush took the Stupidest Man of the Year Award and for the second time in the history of the two-year-old awards won the Stupidity Award for Reckless Endangerment of the Planet.

That's some funny stuff, Steel.

What did I tell you a few months ago when you were worried about Bush being re-elected and you wished more Americans would stand up against him. My response: I'm working on it. Well we worked on it my friend, and it's two months before election time and Bush is getting slapped silly in the polls! Even the Republican polls say that if the election were held today, Kerry would win in a landslide. I'm going to keep working; however, as Bush is surely going to use desperate tactics (see swift boat veterans for truth) to gain back his much lost points.
