If I should die before I wake, Let me look into your eyes once more... So I may see your love for me... So I may percieve your world... If I should die before I wake, Let me hold you in my arms again... So I can always remember what Heaven feels like... So I can remember this warmth that emitts from you... Flesh upon flesh, this exhilirating caress... Lips to lips, and we become one... If I should die before I wake, Let me kiss your lips pne last time... So I may think of roses in the Spring... And I can melt in your arms deliciously... If I should die before I wake, Let me die in your arms, With a soft whisper escaping your lips... "Sleep well, my darling. I love you..." Bound to eternity, With the thought of seeing your precious face once more... Forever yours, my love... Je t'aime, mon amour...

Perhaps, years before now, had I words such as these to give to HER, she would still be here to give them to again. Beautiful writing.

An emotionally naked plea to cherish, at all times, a love which transcends the physical. I have been taught much by one dear to me of not taking things for granted, and you gracefully reinforce that wisdom. Yours is not an expression of dread for what may happen, but an acknowledgement that life travels a route of limited visibility, and we must be wary--on guard, at all times, not to allow our love to go unexpressed in the face of familiarity.
Your message will remain relevant and vital for so long as lovers may entwine--which is to say, forever. So Mote It Be, -KAC-
