Over and over our souls inevitably entwine
Somehow the communication of confiding
hearts sparks a private passion
An eternal spiral of emotions
Link me to you and forbidden words
Disconnect my thoughts

Only to find that your confidence prevents
Casting designs towards me
Let there be love to ease the memories
Of a deceiving past

When I feel you once again
Shadowing my steps
Understanding the possession I have captured
Sensing the presence of an angel
Gliding over my spirit

Searing our thoughts with undying devotion
Walking on clouds as cherubs
Absent and endearing
Fate only succeeds for we are bound to love
