Try

Topic: LostLove

Happiness over shadowing all of the pain
Your smile taking away much of my shame
Your eyes calm me from my heightened state
You are keeping me from my eventual fate
Letting me live another day
I wish I could repay you some way

Hold on while you still have me
Hold on or I will fall down
Remember these days we had together
Remember them when I am no longer around

I can not escape my fate forever
I can not help looking over my shoulder
So do not blame me for living as a shell
Come with me now and together we'll dwell
Since I started talking my life has been changed
And I never want to go back to being estranged

I release the pain I feel now
I release it to the sky
I want to be with you
And I will never cease to try

This was the first thing of yours that I have read and I really really liked it. I could see similarities in your circumstances to mine. Thanks for posting it, I really enjoyed it.

I liked this poem a lot. It was beautiful and it flowed nicely. I'm so sad that you're leaving! :[

So the Poet of Anger is angered no longer, I am happy for you. Though I will say that I hope you try to write happy poems now to replace the angry ones, rather than fade away...
