late nights i say up wondering,
what it is that i am wanting,
wondering if you still have those feelings,
deep down inside i am still hurting.
still can feel everything from the past,
and i am still wondering why it did not last,
wondering what the reason why we were not meant to be,
still wanting it to be just you and me.
things change after time,
but i still got you in my mind,
everyday it is getting harder,
i am not sure if i can take this much longer.
after all these years,
and now it all comes down to tears,
letting go is one of the hardest things to do,
especially when it had to be you.
