my smile has been painted on but the rain is falling its washing off, my smile is gone the Painter knows, he is calling
this isnt the right time or the right place the Painter doesnt want a frown he wants a smile on my face but the rain keeps coming down
he knows the rain is my fault he is extreamly agitated he commands me to make the rain hault I ruined the frown he mutated
he takes out the paints he needs and draws his brush in an upward curl into my mind he reads he says "this lady has more to unfurl"
he paints a shimmer into each hazel eye he was almost satisfied all he needed now was to paint a love which would never die the smile shows his love has caused all my pain to subside
there is one thing he didnt anticipate again I let the rain fall but I wanted the love to castrate but instead I am a brokenhearted painting, hanging from the painters wall

OMG! I LOVE this one! If I could favorite it, I would.
Very very very good, Ashlee. You should have your poetry published. |
