Ten black roses lay
In silence within my heart
Cold like the shadows of midnight
Longing to wither, to rip apart
Rose one hides your memories
And two catchs my falling tears
Three takes away all realities
And four...reminds me of all my fears
Five will calm me when im lost
Six will give me comfort
Seven pretends I like the pain
And eight enjoys my hurt
Nine will bring you back to me
And ten.....awakens me from this dream
Each petal falls helplessly to the floor
As i spare one last painful glance at the door
Still your gone, never to return
So I close my eyes and drift back
To a dark land of no concern
A world of death...evil....all is black
