Blue eyes brillaint as sky, deep as the ocean
Strong enough arms to battle harm
Never will be the one beside you
For you are my best friend, like a brother
yet your face brings comfort to my tears
and I know, when you speak, things will be all right.
You will never know how much you truly mean to me
for my mouth will never speak such things
How I wish I had the courage to run to you
and tell you how my heart yearns for you
when you are not beside me
my world turns grey
and then when you stand in front of me
things never go my way.
I love you as a friend and more
you mean the world to me
and I wish you and I could be
However I know that it is just in my mind
where life is a fairy tale and we wilve happily ever after
Reality is so twisted
I guess I wait for fate
to tell me who to love forever
yet you will always be in my heart
you never leave and never will
For you are the reason I live some days
the reason I breathe
The love I have for you is pure and true
simply complicated and forever lasting
I only wish I felt the same in return
for you are the one I dream of
the one I want to be with
you are the one to whom I turn.

This is wonderfully written. I've been there, and finally told her what she meant to me. That was 27 marvelous years ago. I throughly enjoyed this poem. Thanks for the opportunity to experience your work.
