really bad day

Contributed by smldvl on Tuesday, 10th August 2004 @ 11:29:45 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

There are so many people I want to kill,
this is just an expression of how I feel.
Walked on,
beaten,
totally used, and still I seem so confused.
The light has vanished,
Its fading to grey.
When will the sun shine my way?
Nothing I do ever feels right,
time to throw in the towl and give up th fight.
My family really bites my ***.,
when they offer to help me, I start to laugh.
Don't they know?
Can't they see.
There is no help for someone like me?
Manic depression is my gift,
escaping realtiy is my wish.
Very few things take bare of that,
most of them I deny because they are bad.
I'm probably just having a really bad day...
Maybe tomorrow things will go my way!

you have a very large gift of writing poetry, but you seem to choose to write about dark things. there is always something good in someone's life no matter what. good luck!

Wow sounds like you really were having a bad day, don't sweat it though I think It's something we have all been through at one point or another. Hang in there and keep writing strong poems like that one, Poetry is the best form of expression in my book!!!!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
