oops

an angel falls from heaven
a flower wilts and dies
a carefree laugh is stifled
a saviour fails to try
hope sees no chance
love learns to hate
and charity doesnt care
now patience tires
even loyatly forgets
in world of dreams
a crack begins to grow
the baby that gently laughs
too innocent to know
a hard bitter loss
is all that will remain
in our pointless empty world
out lives a stupid game
to win is painful
to cheat is too unfair
and soon we learn we always lose
but do we really care?

This poem is awesome, but I have one suggestion...
Try and come up with a title for it... Most of the time, a poem without a title is a poem without imagination, and no one wants to put forth the time to read a poem with no imagination. |
