I'm so sorry
But this is my life story
It's the way I feel
And how I've come to deal
I never thought I'd tell anyone
But then you came and I didn't try to run
You brought happiness into my life
And I slowly started to put down the knife
All these people try and try,
Telling me, "Let it out, it's ok to cry."
I don't want to feel this way
But still I break down every day
But then I see your face
And quickly, my heart begins to race
You wrap your arms around me, and hold me tight
And nothing has ever felt so right
And when you're gone, I sit down and pray
Hoping that you'll stay, just for one more day
And when you leave, I feel so alone
I sit and stare quietly at the phone
Waiting for it to ring, to hear your voice
But this decision I made, it was my choice
Somehow, I pushed you away from me
And alone, forever I will be
