Day by day
I wish I could say
I saw you,huged you
Got the chance to say Hey!
That chance was here
About two years ago
Things were so clear
What made you leave us all these years
I really miss you
Mom and Dad aren't mad
They were angry that you left
But hurt deep down inside that you haven't even call us
Not on our birthdays nor holidays
What happened to you?
What did we do?
Did I do something wrong?
If so I'm so sorry please come back
I won't ever do it again
I'll be the best that I can
I try to fight the pain
Of you not being here
Sometimes I cant help but drain
The tears from my eyes
All because your not near
To hold me as I cry
Telling me everything will be alright
Be strong everything will pass by
As I sit here and wonder
Why your gone
Why for so long
You would never turn your back like this
I wonder why this happened
I wonder what your doing right now
If theres a loud strike of thunder over you
With a grey cloud of rain falling over your head
Missing us as much as we miss you too
Please dont be afraid to come back
If you think someones going to hurt you
Well I wont let them be like that
Everyone makes mistakes
Nobody can be perfect
Just dont keep this going on its horrible neglect
Making us suffer for no wrong's we've done
Mom and Dad can't live without you, your their first born son
I love you and I miss you
I don't know what else to say
Hopefully someday you'll do what you have to do
What's right for you
And would be best for us all
Is to give her up and come back home
Your life is more important here
If my dreams come true
I couldnt be any happier
Then to have you
Back home and safe again
Ricky would we all be so happy then

wow. awesome write, straight from the heart. i'm moving away in a year, i know my sister will miss me too, but definitely not to this extent. your brother is one lucky dude. i'm sorry for your loss hope everything turns out ok.

| Very heartwrenching write, you are obviously writing down every bit of emotion you have concerning your brother. Obviously your brother's very lucky to have a family that are so concerned about him even though he hasn't been around for a while...I pray that he will come home soon to make the last line of your poem come true. |
