she cant sleep
the pain is to real
she lost her love
to a worthless thrill
the cuts are so deep
the pain is so strong
her emotions are so tender
there humming a song
she is staring at the stars
so high above
she starts counting
but there isnt enough to express her love
there goes a shooting star
surprised, her heart starts to pound
she closes her eyes to make a wish
not making a sound
maybe she could bottle each tear
only the ones shed for him
then he could how she drowned
when she was only trying to swim
she taps her feet on the concete steps
questioning herself why
then she walks inside her house
ecscaping the depressing night sky
