I have no authority anymore my children hardly listen what's their life instore I give them a direction for them to obey but with wandering minds and distant eyes they forget I'm their mum today not allowed to spank or shout it's hard to be a parent when their fathers not about I'm the one left holding the strings somehow they are tangled the puppets are in the hands of some other human beings I feel usless and bad why cant my children obey their parents like I once had!

Testify Darlin !!! I see so much of the same thing every where. My kids have been brought up with a combination of their parents past. It is so different than when I was younger. As a step-father, that can certainly come into play as well. I certainly hope things have gotten better witth time.
A wonderful write. Thank you. I thought it was just me with that problem.
