Please dont let me see the truth
Hide it away far into the darkness
I dont need more baggage
Erase all that creates wickedness
The dark side of you I dont care to see
Take whats yours back
Nothing you say will change my mind
I dont live for your mind controlling games
The guilt lies in front of your eyes
Let shame take its course
I dont need an apology or your pity
Your words cannot heal your damage
Dont threaten me with your loneliness
Or take advantage of my body
I shiver with your hands upon me
Youve trapped me in your corner
Cut me down into completely nothing
And consume my dignity
You were the light of my life
Everythings gone but your vanity

I don't think poems have to rhyme, if you over do it, it will sound like 1st grade work.
I like this, type of poetry I enjoy writing..very deep work Rock..keep it up. |
