Ten thousand heroes standing proud
Underneath the Olympic flag
Ten thousand heroes strong and true
Give us hope, me and you.
We watch in awe around the world
To see the Olympic flag unfurled
It is a symbol of peace and love
The olive branch, and of the dove.
For in the days that follow here
The world can focus not on war
But youth and strength and courage too
It takes a hero to make it through.
So, we salute you, win or lose
Your ideals, your goals are ours to choose
The world is inspired by your ultimate dream
Maybe we can learn from you, and play as a team.

WOW!!! Great write..... and I agree with other comment... I too salute those youths who show their courage and strength of character... Win or lose they are all champions.....
