Lack of Love

Contributed by fallin_angel_lover on Friday, 13th August 2004 @ 07:37:10 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Flown on the wings of hate,
I stand forever to wait.
All men despise me,
For the lack of the key.
Lacking the beauty of a princess,
I never get those kisses.
I lost my heart,
Because of one so tart.
From love on the landscape,
Those near me do escape.
By your tone,
I shall die alone.
My tears have been shed,
Falling from my head.
I drift in and out of the current,
The wind does not warrant.
What will become of me I cannot tell,
For my life is a living hell.
All the thoughts in my head,
Are best left unsaid.

Such pain in these words, such dispair. I don't know what to say to comfort you. I think most people have felt similar. I know I have. I just learned that I had to determine my own worth and not base it on who I was with. I now truly believe that if you love yourself and are true to who you are, the right kind of people will love you. and those who don't, are not worth it. Keep them comming.

Its amazing how you can complelety connect with someone else by the feeling that are poured out into poetry, and that is exactly how I feel about your poem. Im going throught the same thing right now and it feels as if I had told you my story and then you wrote a poem about it! Hopefully we will be able to pull are selves throught this... if you ever want to talk to someone write me and we can try and help each other throught this...
