A Day Not Right
I know there are many days
when things just don't seem right
Everything you try to do
not done without a fight
You woke at your usual time
a little after four
You even had a problem
opening the bathroom door
You tried to take a shower
as you usually do
The water was so weak
it barely sprinkled you
Shaving was the next thing
you cut yourself three times
You made your tea for breakfast
you discovered there was no limes
Out to start the car
so you could go to work
The battery was dead
you now felt like a jerk
You ran down the street
to try to get a bus
What a waste of time
a strike, without a fuss
You had had enough
you would stay home on this day
No one answered at the office
you then remembered, it was a holiday

That was a great poem. I enjoyed reading it. It was very well structured and it made sense. I liked the ending most of all. Keep it up.

i really like this poem because i can definately relate to how a day can go bad and then all of a sudden something makes the whole day great.
