Nightly Thoughts...

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Sunday, 15th August 2004 @ 02:55:05 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Open up the wounds again,
Make the blood flow
You enjoy watching me bow to your feet,
Begging for your forgiveness
Meek and worthless,
I await my next day of you,
My eternal Hell
Hope is gone,
Faith drags helplessly with it
A figment, a blurry mirage
Your personal marionette to do what you please,
Whore to the night I am
In this world,
Belief is a sin,
All life is lost,
And we are enveloped in a sadistic sea of Darkness
You strike me once more,
But I feel nothing
Your blows have no effect on me anymore
My pain gives you pleasure
My tears quench your thirst
My blood satisfies your hunger
A child of the night,
Something that I have always wanted,
But things are never what they seem
In the eye of the Beholder,
Lies beauty and malignance
Fallen from grace,
Never to return
I am forever bound to you,
My misery, my demon
If only I could wake from this never-ending nightmare
If only I could end this persistent game of Cat and mouse
But I was always meant to be the puppet
The one who will always lose
The one who will never deserve happiness
Death will forever be at my door,
Waiting for the time to knock and enter
Maybe in death, I will finally be in peace
But I realize now,
I am already dead

You are what you bellieve, yet death isnt always the lead that should be followed.
Awesome write, plenty of emotion, farely vivid, captured my heart so all good.
Keep on creating, let your talent for imagary flow free.

"You strike me once more" - I scream Never !!

"My pain gives you pleasure" - I whisper No !!

"My tears quench your thirst" - Only if I did not make you cry

"My blood satisfies your hunger" - Only if it is offered - I would never take it

I would cut your strings and set you free, restore your feeling, and your happiness
