beaten down the road of life
while youre hiding in the dark
come on out and come now
into my open arms
poisoned by thier hateful words
piercing your so-lonely heart
here i am to hold you
when your world falls apart
holding onto hopes and dreams
knowing you are beautiful
knowing people like you
find me a fool, thats all
but never forget i care
and never forget i know
that more than just a face
you have a gorgeous soul
your eyes burn holes in my heart
your smiles are the dreams i have
you are a destiny
i never knew i had
the simple things about you
like the way you have your hair
point out to me that life
can never just be fair
'cause i know i dont deserve
to even call you a friend
so everynight i pray
that our talks never end
you are but the single rose
laid upon my blackened earth
for you i'd give it up
no matter what its worth
i pray to god for one day
to kiss your soft lips, at least
i know you are beauty
im sorry im a beast
in the end for you to know
no matter what happens here
even if you hate me
i will always hold you dear...
