The stars made me cry tonight
their beauty seen by my eyes alone
not shared as they are meant to be
with the eyes that would next gaze into mine
The twinkle of light, the magical shimmer
reflect only in my own eyes
as my head searches for a shoulder to lean on
but finds instead an unyielding emptiness
a void; no place for my head, or my heart
My eyes rest upon the stars
dreaming to share them with another
appreciating their beauty on my own
alone, again
no hope in sight, only the stars

ouch yeah I can relate to this definitely such a wonderful, yet short poem. I loved it... I give u an A and a pass to post lots more poems.
