Through My Tears

Contributed by ps_ihateyou on Wednesday, 18th August 2004 @ 01:57:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

All around me, people are dying
There are loud screams and children crying
I sit at night and wonder why
Wonder what happened to the clear blue sky
How can people be so cruel?
Using their anger as a tool
There are times when I just can't speak
All this pressure has made me feel so weak
Sometimes I feel like I want to die
As I sit alone in my room and cry
I don't know who I can talk to anymore
Alone in my mind, I try to find a cure
But my head is spinning, I can't keep up
It feels like my whole mind is about to erupt
All these thoughts running through my head
Making me wish that I were dead
I'm drowning in all my thoughts and fears
As I watch the world through my tears
From this mess, I can't break free
And in the end, there's only me

Nicely written. It flows and reads well.
