I'm falling
Endlessly and incomprehensively
Falling into a void of perfection
Of real and pure affection
Falling into a fictional entity
And in absolute certainty
I know deep inside
That no definite future could develop
From an adoration for somebody
A soul that does not exist
And even though my mind would persist
That the sheer stupidity of the act
Should be enough for me to react
Negatively to that moronic fantasy
That so contradicts common reality
That hopeful imbecile's imagination still conquers
The heart and mind of a dreamer
The soul of a hopeless romantic
The life of the innocent
Longing to break free
