Withering Pasts: A Nostalgia

It just seems like yesterday the schooldays that pass me by too swiftly a nostalgic pain of yearning to deep of days of innocence sealed, yet uncrowned
I found too late my wasted past tainted by fits of agony too dark to embark the bright days in-between lay unappreciated Then dimmed to a piercing blackness
Now, i sit in frustration, a sorrow unknown trying to remember what the withering past was Knowing what was will forever remain a past Chained into the darkened pits of memory's last
Thus self rebuke shall i not seek But to cast my eyes to take a courageous peek The picture of present, though blurry, unfound shall be re-painted through the stroke of reliance's brush.

My kudos to your an insight into the human condition :..I found too late my wasted past
tainted by fits of agony too dark to embark..
Your poem makes people suddenly realize human relevancy is what's important...an ideal poem indeed...
