I can feel the urge
My skin I must purge
Evil be gone
I know it is wrong
But its too late to stop
Hate fills every blood drop
You can see the beauty
That isnt me
How could somthing like this
Somthing so pretty
Come out of me
The cuts on my wrist
The point that I missed
Why do I do this?
I cant figure out why
Another mistake of mine
So I sit and cry
If I could take it all back I would
But there is not use crying
Over spilled blood

I've never felt "the urge". So my topical understanding is nil. The poem is tragic, with a feeling of hopelessnes. Well written, I hope the urge to write will overpower the urge to cut.
