Twisted and locked within,
Searching but uncertain what for.
Theres got to be a meaning
To my life
Are my dreams just faded?
Forgotten and thrown out
The window,
Like a bird flying ever so high,
Suddenly plummeting to the ground to stay.
Why wont you come near me?
Im searching,
For a place to fit in,
Like in your arms, sleeping peacefully again.
Pray with me that I can survive,
This life of mine.
It sure knows how to get me down.
Help me up, lift me up into the sky.
I want to be high, weightless, careless hopeless
Tell me what I hope you feel,
Listen to my soul pouring out to you.
My mind is searching for the words.
The words that I want to say,
Are so hard to describe.
Just like this aching I get inside;
When I think of me without you.
Its a nightmare,
So when will I awake?
Youre in sight, breaking my heart,
On my mind, in my dreams, the edge in my speech,
The past I want to rewrite and repeat.
But youre not within my reach.
If only youd see the truth in my voice,
The pleading fire behind my tear-filled eyes.
Can you remember the love from within my heart?,
The passion in my kiss?
Complete satisfaction with your love, a bliss.
The yearning to embrace
In what I know to be:
More than words will ever say.
The outline of your face,
Your fingertips along my spine,
The warmth in your touch,
Your laugh when I was sad,
And the dance that made me believe.
Believe you were meant for me.
More that a fairy-tale or a made-up dream.
This is real intense
And I want you so bad.
I want to know it all,
Absorb and intertwine you in my thoughts, my life.
Everything about you,
Makes me smile from within.
Im searching.
Searching for the love you once made me feel.

This is a truly beautiful expression of the yearning your soul is feeling. I would tell him,show him this, only if you think he feels the same way. If not keep on searching for that one who WILL feel the same way.
I am still searching also. Love is sorrowfully blind. We feel it and they don't. But good luck to you. Again, this is a very good written expression!!!
