With my heart in your hands
Playing a game of trust
Dangling my heart over an edge
But somehow I was never scared
I knew you could never let me go
I knew you would never let me slip
Even when the water got dark
And we felt we could no longer walk
There you were
Giving all your strength
To help me not get hurt
When my heart drowns
And the tears flow down
My world was crashing down
And my life felt worthless
There you were
Resting my heart in your hands
Comforting every tear rolling down my eyes
And when I felt loved the most in my life
Everything was right
No one could bring me down
There you were
Making my dreams come true
