and people stop to stare
Do not be ashamed
Don't you give a care
You are who you are
and that''s all you need
The others don't matter
You go your own speed
One step at a time
Put one foot first
Your the best
The others are worse
Ignore the silence
Ignore the stares
Be who you are
But be aware
People try to change you
You gotta be strong
They think they're right
But they are wrong
Just be yourself
The others will follow
Life goes on
No need to wallow
Like a stone in the sea
You stand tall
Be the bigger man
While others stay small
Acceptance will come
Along with your life
Forget the pain
Forget the strife
I am you
and you are me
Standing together
We become the key

| I really like his poem its good for teens who are going into middle school and high school who think they need to change to fit in with other people. so true luv it! |
