Oh the memories, your memories
How oft they give comfort to my heart
Bringing again the same joy and happiness
Created and sustained by your love
Painful moments now past
Time has opened my eyes
Revealing the true nature of your love
Less romantic and poetic notions
Your love is real and unfeigned
A genuine blend of grace and compassion
With little or no selfishness
Most unique and extraordinarily special
Even in times such as these
Your love blesses with each memory
Reminding me your heart is unlike any other
And you unlike any woman Ive ever known
Tonight as I remember
I understand more and more
With each passing moment
How truly blessed I have been
These memories of you
Are much more than mere reminiscing
They are ripples and echoes of love
Moving my heart as no other ever will
