Your Melody
August 19, 2004
When darkness falls,
I hear your tune.
Do you play, from the grassy valley?
Do you play, from your perch on the moon?
I can hear, in my heart la vostra melodia,
And I wonder where you are.
Can I find you there,
Above the city, in the dark, looking down,
On the light?
When the tranquility of night comes,
And you go away, I always think to ask,
Will you bring, me along, with you,
But I can't form the words from my lips.
Only in my mind can I ask,
To be la vostra melodia
So here I am, left alone with only your heat,
Left beating on my heart.
I can feel, that youre near, and yet so far.
And I wonder why, I cry.
Is your music, so light, so bright, and so low,
Filling my eyes, my heart, my soul?
When you leave, me hereI only know,
Youre not too far for me to feel.
Can you play, the one I love to hear,
On this night, I am, so lonely.
Just a sound, familiar and vague,
Wishing with me, to turn the page
If I could, I would stand with you,
Do you need a hand or two?
Is there anything for me, but to be
