She's the one you chose
Our love was like a flower
A precious red rose
Beautiful while it's blooming
You never want it to end
But eventually it has to
That's why I promised to be a friend
The rose will bloom forever
Locked within my heart
To keep our memories alive
Although we're far apart
So I hope you find just what you want
Your olive branch and dove
The one that you deem worthy
Of keeping your heart in love
The rose within me
So small and shy
Will always and forever bloom
Even long after my demise
So just be happy
Don't you fret
But promise me one thing
That you will never forget
The rose within my heart
