Dad... Why'd You Leave?

Contributed by oreo_kisses on Friday, 20th August 2004 @ 04:15:45 AM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

Why did you leave me?
I know I was so young
But I needed a fatherly figure in my life
I didnt need to deal
With such a tragedy
At the age of four

Ever since you
Mom has tried
To find another guy
But none can compare
Even though lots have tried

Only one has succeeded
In moms eyes
But none will ever
Compare in mine
You will always be
My one and only dad!
