What Do You See

Contributed by ShadowsCloud on Saturday, 2nd November 2002 @ 11:15:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

Close your eyes...what do you see
Is it a lasting picture of you and me
Are we together, or far apart
Do you love me with all your heart
Are we holding hands, or kissing
Is it me you are missing
Am I beautiful to you in every way
If I asked you for forever...
What would you say

Blimey Candice,
What a question this would be!
Excellent poem you've written here, I really like it, but what a question!!
Why don't I get asked this?? Oh well, I can dream.
Be sure to let us know what he says when you ask!

With love
Dean:-)

Dean, Thanks for your comment. This was written about the guy that I am going to go for it with. And I will let you know how it goes when I ask. I think I'm going to give him this poem the next time I talk to him. I really hope that it goes well. I don't know why you don't get asked this, but you never know you might be asked one day. You can never know what like has in shore for you. Thanks again for you comment.

A really fun read. I have been around the poetry circles for a while and I think it's a shame that more poets can't have fun writing poetry. You seem to enjoy it so much that it shows in your words. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us all.

I do enjoy if very much. I stated writing poetry for fun when I was 7, and have been writing for almost 14 years now. The main reason that I write poetry is still for fun. Than you for your comment.

Trisha, this poem was written about a guy that I am deeply in love with. These are questions that I one day hope I am brave enough to ask him.
