I want to be to dead to care
To dead to notice that youre even there
Then I will never be hurt by your lies
Never losing a single tear from my eyes
I long to be numb to the pain
For my heart that you have slain
To no longer be hurt by you
And all of the painful things that you do
I wont let you take my pride
Even after all of the tears that I cried
You left me wounded and alone
But that pain will never be shown
I wont let you know that you defeated me
I wont let you take away my dignity
I thought that you needed me
But now the truth is what I see
I never imagined you could hurt me this much
All I wanted was to feel your touch
But now I realize I was wrong
And now I have to act really strong
I just wish I was to dead to care
To dead to notice that you were even there
But instead Im hurt by all your lies
So many tears have left my eyes

This is filled with such emotions.. good write keep it up and dont loose fate. In life some of us have to suffer such as you and myself and many of members of this site. We must try and keep faith...

| Too dead to care? I should hope not for indeed to be dead to cares is the death of a soul. I know this out of my character but perhaps it is not to be too dead to care but to not be entombed in your despair. Past hurts exist but just let them be memoris leave your heart alive for other moments to bring to bliss....oh well just my meandering thoughts... but a rather well written write in any case. |
