Look up at me
Let me see your eyes through mine
Tears or none
Sadness is shown
A fear of unforgiving thoughts
A mind is crying out for help
To many questions
Go unanswered
To much anger and hate that cant be let out
A shadow lost long ago
A heart that no longer cares
The beast within cannot breathe
He will catch a breath
And breathe again
Let himself out
And destroy once more
Through the eyes of the innocent
The eyes of the sad and lonely
He will speak out
And let you know
To destroy what was once great
To rid yourself of peace
And bring back the anger that was once taking over you
Taking over your mind
But happiness and peace had won you over
It took over your mind
Took over the anger and hate
That had conquered your soul for so long
But it will return
It always does
A never-ending battle
Between the good and the evil
That inhabit all of us

| i used to write alot like this, you can still see it in some of my poems. i enjoyed reading this poem an aweful lot, you portray your emotions like a painted picture. thankyou for sharing such a wonderful peace of art with us all |
