Was it the beginning or the end of a problem that bled through? We shrugged off the omens and melodramatic moments And let go of all those things that can't be replaced It was a wake up call and painful slap in the face But it all worked out and we've gone are seperate ways
Memories collide with dissonant upsetting lies that've been locked away I would feel somewhat different but the pieces of you have ruined my whole day
Was it the beginning or the end of a nightmare that imploded? All of the doctors promised us that it wouldn't be fatal But now you are burried, what the hell do they know I still can remember the smoothness of your hair But a panic attack reccurs every single hour of my waking
Memories collide with dissonant upsetting lies that've been locked away I would feel somewhat different but the pieces of you have ruined my whole day
You didn't stay beautiful for very long Your perfect cheekbones and eyes have gone All of the color in your face has been washed away Your skin has turned white and your hair has turned grey In monochrome dreams I caress you and let fall into my arms I know that I'm the only one that can appreciate all of your charms
Memories collide with dissonant upsetting lies that've been locked away I would feel somewhat different but the pieces of you have ruined my whole day
You were as perfect anyone could get But your fragile existence was shattered Like a porcelain figure dropped onto the pavement And even though you are not with me at this moment Your smile still does reflects a thousand rays of sunshine Onto my otherwise bland, boring, repetitive yawn of a life
