I sit in the night
Gazing up at the stars
Realizing how it's all changed
And seeing my many lost "wars"
Remembering of the battles
Fought and Lost
Realizing it was all too much
Too much of a great cost.
The battle field in my head
Was drenched in tears of pain
Too much to loose
With nothing to gain.
And as that cool night breeze
Brushes upon my face
Realizing I have many battles to come
Loosing the war, Loosing the race.
