Broken Mirror Rozbité zrcadlo

Contributed by Aika on Sunday, 22nd August 2004 @ 02:58:47 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

For a long time I tried my fate
Staring in the mirror
I wanted to see where from and who I am
And I broke it whole!

Tears bouncing from the sherds
And arising thousands new
Have many my faces terrified me
Or was that gaze of moon?

Picking up the pieces
To glue myself anew
In the grip of my body
Sitting in dark dungeon

So difficult to create own face
So difficult to make look of eyes
So difficult to clean blood from cheeks
So difficult to catch flying soul

Fingers cut, but blood
running through my heart
Eyes so tired yet tears
Cried out from the skies

Body in cramps
Kneeling at the mirror
Is it me or who?

Vaguely I see the image
Somebody staring at me
Is it my own reflection?
She is laughing basely!

If I one day
Pick up this mosaic
Maybe laters then
Myself I recognize.

Tak dlouho pokouela jsem osud
V zrcadlo se dvala
Chtěla vědět kdo jsem a odkud
A zrcadlo jsem rozbila

Slzy od střepů se odr
A tvoř se jich tisce
Vyděsila mě spousta mch tvř
Či snad pohled měsce?

Skldm mozaiku sebe
Tvořm se znovu cel
Sedm tu v temn cele

Tu mozaiku poskldm
Snad potom tedy
I sebe sama poznm.

Another piece that cries out, a tortured soul not knowing where to find comfort
Brought a lump to my throat and sent a cold blast across my heart

How very tragic dear Aika Baby......you still buy an entirely different mirror to gaze into and relate.........for the mirror I see you in is so very different Indeed! A loving big hearted person, by busy, with her little dragons and wonderful husband....trying to care for her mother at the same time!
You are trying to do too much dear Aika.....just take it one day at a time.....and know that the image you see has tired eyes...you need a rest! And besides you also work! Slow down and take time smell the lovely trees.....you love so much! And please buy another mirror!
Love you
conniemom
