People like to hear about other peoples pain
how they had a friend died today
or how they survive with 2 missing legs
People want to know about war and misery
and about the governer and his homosexuality
We want to watch court cases live on big screen
And we want to know who has bad style
And what not to wear this week
We have the News and Court TV
We have BET and channel for men and TV for women
We made internet so we didnt have to wait
for all those shows to come on
and now we can interact
with other viewers and fiends for fashion
with others who love Law and Order
we are the most advanced forms on this planet
It makes you proud to know that
But then again what is advanced
News and Court TV
Man Channel, Female channel
BET and Style network
The ability to get online and interact and cheat on your wife
with someone who has the same addiction
People like to know someone has it worse
But they forget to look around cause they would see
that someone elses pain could be right behind their seat

I completely agree with you.
It's almost like you read my thoughts.
I wrote two poems voicing my opinion that is similar to this one. They are titled " Nothing Is the Answer" and " Your Society" ( it's supposed to be F*** Your Society.)
Well.... good write!!

You have an interesting and viable concept, but your thoughts
are all over the spectrum.
You need to tighten it up. You've given yourself lots of latitude by
opting for free verse, but you need to exercise some discipline;
don't be afraid to throw some .stuff out. Every word in a poem is
not necessarily a gem.
