Its Good To Hear From You
August 20, 2004
Hey there,
Its been awhile,
Hasnt it?
And here I am,
Coming back to say,
Hope that everything is okay,
And you are happy.
Its been months,
Since weve talked,
And years since,
Ive seen you.
And every time,
You said goodbye,
I wondered when,
Id hear from you again
I love you friend,
So say hello, and do not go
Like something from a story,
Your timing is so great.
I send you all my wishes,
And then you show your face.
To say,
Thanks for thinking of me,
Im sorry Ive been gone.
Its just that it has been so long,
And now I am feeling,
My heart warming.
The gaps are being filled,
My vision is clearing,
And I can start to rebuild.
How great to know youre better,
And life is looking up.
My prayers are coming true for you,
Theyre starting to get through.
Just wanted to let you know,
I cannot wait until then.
In just a couple weeks,
Well laugh and talk again.
So thanks for coming back,
If only to postpone,
At least I now know,
You are not alone.
It's been months since we've talked,
But this time when you say goodbye,
I will not wonder when,
Ill hear from you again.
