For tonight Im lonely too
A sappy song of love
Cause now Im suck with you.
Maybe your song will make time fly faster
And well forget our troubles
In a stupid song of love.
Well sing songs of joy
Those may stop our pain
Simple songs of joy
While dancing in the rain
When we look around well see
Theres no joy with you and me
But till then well just sing songs of joy
What happens when the songs run dry?
I never wanted to see you cry.
But songs never make the skies blue.
Or kindle any hope for you.
So please tell me why we sing these songs of love.
