The scars left on my mind start to bleed
from the memories I hold inside
trickling down my body to where my heart lies
encaging it in a prison of blood
to where no emotions are felt
no happiness
no fear
no desire
no hate
no love
but one small opening is left
where the blood did not cross over
that is where my pain is felt
that is where the memories wont fade
that is where my life shall never heal
as my heart recovers my emotions left behind
and the blood enclosed around my heart
becomes dry and falls
it leaves my heart scared but healed
but even now my heart still feels the pain
from the spot that never got covered
and from the spot that never will
