Cold and pale I lay defeated Your touch forever slips away Silence utters grief that can't be spoken My tomstone heart is now thy grave Memories stir in the dead of night Things that cannot be forgotten I find solace in a sweet mistake My flaws become my confort Though I loved you once before My spirit is dead Forbidding to love again One final tear I shed now For a life that could have been I watch as thy face fades away As you leave me here for dead
