you came into my life
befour i was born
your my pal
and my partner
through good times
and bad
since the start
of my adolescence
the tough times
grew
and with that
did our bond
a bond
that can only be formed
between owner
and pet
its a beautiful thing
and a sad one too
when as soon as you meet
it is quickly taken from you
always cherish the time
that you have
with that playfull puppy
or wee little kitten
cause they grow with you
and know you the best
cheer you up when your sad and push
all your troubles away with one swat of a paw
so take care of them
treat them well
because befour you know it
theyre dead and gone
"Kitty was with me when i was born,
and he will be with me till the day i die."
